Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival, one of our representatives will pick you up from the airport and take you to Parrot Hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you'll have a chance to unwind and get ready for the adventure ahead. Arusha, a vibrant city in northern Tanzania, is an essential stop for many safari travelers.

After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your accommodation. You will then embark on a drive to Tarangire National Park, which takes about two and a half hours on well-maintained tarmac roads. Named after the Tarangire River, the park serves as the sole water source for wildlife during the dry season. Known for its large elephant herds, you may also spot giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests, along with predators like lions and leopards. Tarangire boasts the highest variety of breeding bird species in the world and is home to ancient Baobab trees, some of which are over a thousand years old. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park before returning to your accommodation near the park for the night.

After breakfast, you'll drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a small yet diverse park offering unique experiences. Despite its compact size, it features dramatic landscapes, with the Great Rift Escarpment rising above Lake Manyara’s western edge. The park is named after the shallow, salt lake that floods and dries with the seasons, hosting thousands of wading birds, including flamingos and over 500 other bird species. You might spot baboons and elephants in the lush evergreen forest, and keep an eye out for the famous tree-climbing lions. After a full day exploring the park, you'll make a short drive to your accommodation in Karatu.

After breakfast, you'll drive to the cooler regions of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a chance to view the stunning Ngorongoro Crater. You will then continue through the conservation area to the Serengeti, entering from the south of the park.
The Serengeti is renowned for its breathtaking open grasslands, offering excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. While it is home to abundant wildlife year-round, it is especially famous for the Great Migration. Each year, massive herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelope follow a cyclical pattern in search of fresh grazing. With the right knowledge, you can witness this spectacular migration at any time of year.

This entire day is dedicated to game drives in the Serengeti, which is rich in wildlife including impalas, buffaloes, crocodiles, and hippos. If the Great Migration is occurring, you may travel beyond the Central region to witness this extraordinary event. It promises to be a truly unforgettable experience.

After breakfast, you'll drive from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater. Upon first sight, the crater appears as a lost world, surrounded by steep volcanic walls and revealing a pristine wilderness of vast savannahs, acacia woodlands, and shimmering lakes and swamps. Formed by the explosion and collapse of a large volcano two to three million years ago, the crater offers a unique landscape.
Descending into the crater is an adventure, and once you reach the floor, you'll be surrounded by large herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and over 500 bird species. The crater also provides one of the best chances to see the endangered black rhino, which may occasionally be seen in the open grasslands. After a full afternoon exploring, you'll head to your accommodation in Kitela for dinner and an overnight stay.
